Five Nights at Freddy’s 2

So this is a thing now. Upon more inspection of the back story, it is now confirmed (at least in my mind) that this is someone’s rendition of hell. Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza was experiencing hard times after five children in the past went missing and the animatronic puppets apparently have been found oozing blood, mucus, and smell horrendous. This perpetrates a past employee (quite possibly the one you’re playing) and that answers my question on how your character got extorted into this job in the first place and doesn’t worry about how chinky the pay is.

In December of 1993, five employees were actually shot at a Chuck E. Cheese in Aurora, CO. A  man who was fired months previously was hiding in the bathroom until they were closing up. He picked off the three employees cleaning the arcade and lobby before heading to the kitchen, capping the cook in the jaw. Then he rounded it up by shooting the manager in the office in the back office. He was later tried and convicted for this, as the cameras recorded everything and the cook survived after playing dead after he was shot. Correlate this to the game as you will.

This brings me back to the sequel, because apparently this is hell and you will not escape its clutches that easily. Now you’re trapped with not only physical demon puppets and their little astral gliding friend, Golden Freddy, but meet up with some new animatronics who are out to kill the old ones. So you wear a mask to avoid the old ones, but the news ones don’t like the mask. I’ll just allow myself to be reminded that my ghosts and gremlins are relatively harmless, and that the zombies are kept out by a highly effective fence.

Did I mention The Puppet and the Music Box that keeps the Puppet from killing you? Okay, I’m somewhat trying to laugh away the creepiness now.
